We built PoultricHQ because poultry farming deserved better tools. For too long, farmers across Nigeria have managed complex, fast-moving operations with notebooks, spreadsheets, and memory. We decided to do something about it.
How PoultricHQ came to be
SoftPath Tech is a Nigerian software company focused on building practical technology for industries that have been underserved by digital tools. We started with a simple observation: poultry farming is one of the most economically significant agricultural sectors in Nigeria, yet the people running these farms — from small backyard operations to large commercial facilities — had almost no purpose-built software to help them.
We spent time talking to farm owners, visiting farms, and understanding the real operational challenges they faced day to day. Every farm was struggling with the same things: visibility across sheds, control over feed and inventory, accurate records, and the ability to make decisions based on real data rather than estimates and gut feeling. So we built PoultricHQ.
We are not building for a hypothetical user. We are building for people we have met, farms we have visited, and problems we have seen firsthand. That is the difference — and it shows in every feature on the platform.
